Providing heat across the whole floor of a house, underfloor heating gently warms the air from the ground up, providing an even temperature at ground level and not head height. It eliminates cold spots, removes draughts and can reduce ambient dust.

At its most effective, underfloor heating systems circulate water at temperatures of between 45 - 55°C, regulated by controlling the flow and return water with a thermostatic control valve. Warm water flows through a continuous loop of piping to create a radiant surface of even heat.

Underfloor heating adds to the safety, visual appeal and also to the value of the property itself

This form of heating is a healthy and highly controllable form of heat. It is invisible, silent and does not encroach on valuable living space and perhaps most importantly, it is extremely cost effective to run.

Underfloor heating can be fitted under most floor types and can remain effective whether carpeting, vinyl, timber, laminate or ceramic coverings are used. It is also compatible with all types of wet central heating systems including conventional/combination condensing boilers and is particularly effective with low temperature renewable heat sources such as air and ground source heat pump systems.
